The General Config section allows you to customize the portal name, select an included theme (or another free downloaded theme), define how users login to ECP and more. As shown above you can find General Configuration under Portal Settings (click Site Admin / Portal Settings)
Granting Portal Access to Account Contacts
The ECP allows you to permit contacts on an EngageIP account to login as users. In order to provide unique login credentials per contact you will need to first create and then add two Contact Point Types (a login and a password) per Contact Type. Instructions are provided below.
Contact Point Type Configuration:
In the EngageIP AdminPortal load the Setup page
Under the Accounts and Roles heading click on Contact Types
Click on the name of an existing contact type that you wish to be able to grant portal access to (for example 'Administrative Contact')
Under the Contact Point Types heading click the Add button
Under Name enter Portal Login and set the Data Type as Text
If you wish the Contact Point to be required and/or the field to appear when adding a new account you may check those options
Click Save/New
Under Name enter Portal Password and set the Data Type as Password
Set the 'Required' and 'Show To Add Account' settings to be in sync with the 'Portal Login' Contact Point Type that you just added
Click Save
Repeat the Process of setting up the Portal Login and Portal Password Contact Point Types for any other Contact Types that you wish to allow ECP portal access to
Enforcing Unique Portal Logins
EngageIP 8.5.21.0 and above support enforcement of Unique data for Contact Point Types. To Configure EngageIP to enforce unique ECP Portal Logins see the Managing Contacts on Accounts article.
