SOAP API – SetUserServiceProfileData

SetUserServiceProfileData( userServiceID, profileItemName, value ) : Void

Since: EngageIP v25.2

Sets profile information for a user service or throws exception if the user service does not exist.

Parameters:

  • userServiceID (Integer) - The ID of the user service to update the profile question, an exception will be thrown if the username does not exist.

  • profileItemName (String) - The name of the profile question, an exception will be thrown if the profile question does not exist for the service.

  • value (String) - The answer to the profile question, an exception will be thrown if the value does not match configuration rules. See Configuring Profile Questions for more details.

Possible Exceptions:

  • INVALID USER SERVICE ID

  • INVALID PROFILE QUESTION NAME

  • INVALID PROFILE ANSWER
