Process Overview

Setting up a new UDR Feed requires four steps, these steps are typically performed with the assistance of LogiSense mediation specialists.

  1. Define path and directories for that UDR feed on the server

  2. Build the Custom code that will be associated to the new UDR feed

  3. Define a new UDR feed using UDR feed link on the Setup tabpage

  4. Add the necessary processors

Custom code for the UDR feed is created by LogiSense mediation staff. If you are unfamiliar with how custom code is added in EngageIP see this KB article: https://kb.logisense.com/?p=2645the article Adding Custom Code to EngageIP.

Step 3 - Define a New UDR Feed

Log in / Access the top level owner

  1. Click on Setup tab

  2. Click UDR Feeds

  3. Click the Add button

  4. Fill the required fields as in the below screenshot (required fields are in Red):

    Name: is the new UDR feed name
    Description: used to describe the UDR feed
    Data Source: the custom code to be associated to the UDR feed
    Data Source Details: the path on the server where the raw files for this UDR feed are located (defined in the previous topic)
    Enable: check this box to enable this UDR feed

  5. Click Save when complete

Adding a processor to a UDRFeed depends on the rating code itself. Only the suitable processor and it's its priority needs to be chosen.

  1. Load the Setup tab page

  2. Click UDR Feeds

  3. Click on the Name of the desired UDRFeed in the list

  4. Under the Processor section click on the Add button

  5. Chose the required priority

  • The Feeds are enabled for the Top Owner (Setup ->Rating / Rating and Usage ->UDR / UDR Feeds)

  • The Event, Job and Rating services are running

  • The UDRFeed source is set to the correct folder (i.e. where the raw CDR files are located)

  • The source folder has a "Processed" sub directory
