Summary

This article provides some checks for setting up a UK date formatted EngageIP server.

Process

  • Ensure GBP is added under Setup > Currencies

  • Windows Registry Config:

    • Make sure registry under HKEY User and HKEY Current User has the international settings configured with the Country, monetary symbol and the correct short date format (dd/MM/yyyy)

  • Ensure that the culturecode table in EngageIP has the correct culture code (en-GB in this case)

  • Ensure that the SQL user you're using to login with is configured to have a default language = 'British English'

  • Ensure the Database is set to british english as the default language - Right click server (top of tree) in studio management, click properties, go to advanced section, update language

  • Ensure that Regional Settings in the control panel of windows reflects the correct location, monetary symbols, and date formatting

  • If switching the database from one SQL installation server to another server, check that the database collation is the same
