Overview
Usage feeds are setup to process and mediate (transform) usage records (CDRs) from network systems into usage records suitable for billing purposes (UDRs). The feed configuration will indicate where the source record is picked up (directory) and what configuration (data profile) it is using to mediate the usage record into a billing record.
Prerequisites
Data profiles need to be configured in order to mediate the usage records into a billing records usable by the billing system.
Feeds Panel
The Feeds panel on the left of this screen allows you to select existing feeds to view and edit on the Edit Feed panel to the right. Actions are also available in this panel which are shown as icons above the Filter text box. The available actions are described below.

Edit Feeds Panel
The information in this panel reflects the currently selected feed. From here you can change feed details (fields will display a red left border if a value is required and purple text if the field is read-only and cannot be modified).
Edit Feeds Fields:
Name: a meaningful name for the feed (e.g. describe the usage source)
Enabled: determines if the feed is enabled (processing usage records) or not
Description: additional details about the feed
Directory Name: the folder that an active feed will monitor for usage records. This directory will exist under the \NodeServer\Application\FileImporter path
Data Profile: the configuration used to convert the source data into a billing record
References tab
This section displays where the selected feed is used in the system. By default the reference data is displayed in a summary format to indicate where the feed is in use, however the Entity drop down field can be used to view the exact system objects that the feed is configured on.

Adding Feeds
Under the Feeds heading on the left click the icon
Under the Add Feed heading on the right specify the feed details
Click Save

Editing Feeds
Under the Feeds heading on the left click the feed you wish to edit
Under the Edit Feeds heading on the right modify the feed details
Click Save when finished making changes

Deleting Feeds
Under the Feed heading on the left select the feed you wish to delete
Under the same Feed heading click the icon
On the confirmation dialog that appears select Yes
