Package frequencies allow you to configure packages with as many billing frequencies as you require (monthly, quarterly, annually, etc.). Package frequencies are where recurring, one-time and tiered prices are configured on services and service transitions.

Note: Changing prices on package frequencies can impact the prices that are charged on existing account-packages. Prices are determined first by checking for a modified price set on the account-package, next (if a custom account-package price is not set) the system will look for a price plan on the account with an alternate price for the package, lastly (if no account-package or price plan override was found) the price is determined by the value set on the package frequency. |
Prerequisites
Service statuses need to be setup in order to configure recurring charges on services
Service transitions need to be configured if you wish to setup one-time charges based on transitioning from one status to another (an activation fee when going from pre-active to active for instance)
Currencies need to be setup in order to define which currencies package frequencies can bill in and to configure service charges in each enabled currency
Rate plans are required if you plan to attach rate plans to package frequencies (i.e. there are usage based services in the package)
Contracts are required if you plan to attach contracts to package frequencies (e.g. an annual contract on a package with an annual package frequency)

The information in this panel reflects the currently selected Package frequency. From here you can modify package frequency details (fields will display a red left border if a value is required and purple text if the field is read-only and cannot be modified).
