The information in this panel reflects the currently selected rounding rule. From here you can modify a rule's configuration (fields will display a red left border if a value is required and purple text if the field is read-only and cannot be modifiednote: fields with a magenta left border are required).
Name: a unique name for the rounding rule
Active: indicates if the rounding rule is active/available. If the rule is not active it won’t be listed when selecting rounding rules on the usage rates configuration screen
Base Unit Type: the usage type that is being rounded up (count, data or time)
Unit Type: the unit to use for rounding in relation to the base unit type selected (e.g. Megabytes)
Minimum: the minimum usage value. For instance, round all calls up to 60 seconds when the call length is less than 60 seconds long
Increment: the usage increment after the minimum value has been met. For instance, rounding all calls up to 60 seconds (minimum value) and then rounding time usage over 60 seconds by 10 second increments. A call lasting 1 minute and 1 second would be billed for 1 minute and 10 seconds if you used a rounding rule set with a minimum of 60 and an increment of 10
Sort Order: the order the rounding rule will appear in when selecting from the rounding rule drop down list on usage rates. This value must be greater than zero
